Floressence Pop Up
Visual Identity, Branding, Illustration, UX Design, Layout
About the Project
Floressence is a collaborative interactive exhibit that sets up shop in the Loop of Chicago. Following in the recent trend of pop-up museums and visual, immersive exhibits, Floressence uses light and large scale floral displays to create a lasting impression.
Though this experience operates on a smaller scale than a typical museum, it contains work on a scale that it requires as many deliverables and branding.
The goal here would be to create an brand that fits the identity of the event, and produce deliverables that generate interest.
Concept work that truly illustrates the finished space of the event is required as well.
Development
Early mind maps and exploration of the concept allowed a focus to come about. Imagery involving electricity and floral elements appeared frequently, and there was an effort to make the identity appear more contemporary.
Bright florals, electrics, and sparing organic illustration was implemented in order to enhance the brand.
Planning and development was put into layout and implementation for tech and print deliverables,
